To provision Visual Studio, and other software subscriptions like it, follow these steps: 

 

  1. Provision the Microsoft Azure subscription through Work 365 (if an Azure subscription is not already in place). 

  1. Then go to Microsoft Partner Center, and follow Microsoft’s instructions on provisioning Visual Studio (or other software subscriptions like it).  

  1. Ensure the Visual Studio product is in the Product catalog with the price list item. 

  1. This product should have a manual provider. See Work 365 Manual Provider for details.  

  1. Go to the customer’s Billing Contract: hit Sync Subscriptions 

  1. The subscription will sync to Work 365 

  1. Note: any quantity changes made to this subscription will have to be provisioned manually through Partner Center.
